Felix Raitz von Frentz
Felix Raitz von Frentz was born in Frankfurt as the son of two photographers.
After graduating from high school, he initially worked in Berlin on a few cinema and television films in the camera stage area before completing his studies at the University of Television and Film HFF Munich in the feature film camera department.
During his studies, in addition to working for fiction, he was responsible for the camera work on numerous documentaries as a lighting cameraman.
His full-length diploma film Morscholz, directed by Timo Müller, won the “Neuer Deutscher Film” Award at the Munich Film Festival in 2008.
Since graduating he has been working as a freelance director of photography.
